Project: Creating a brand visual style
Process: Inspired by HOKA’s trail events and running clubs, I wanted to create a bold and empowering brochure that would motivate runners to join the HOKA Trail Running Group. The brochure highlights HOKA shoes and apparel, features potential trails to run with different difficulty levels, recommends different shoes, and encourages readers to join the HOKA Trailblazers. To achieve a rugged, energetic look, I edited stock photos in Photoshop with added texture, combining photos, and editing lighting. I brought the photos in and laid out the final design in InDesign using bright accents for a bold visual impact.
For each of the trails in the brochure, I designed a logo to match each of the trail names. To extend on the brochure, I also created three digital ads that you would be able to see either on a website as a banner ad or as an Instagram story that HOKA would post to share its new running club to its followers.
