Bubbl'r
Skills: Working as a team, art directing, layout of images and type
Software: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign
Project: Branding
Process: For this ad series I wanted to create a memorable series through a refreshing, energetic, and bold feel. To begin I created a moodboard of images and sketches to show my photographers to help convey the idea and feel I wanted to create in the photoshoot. To bring the concept of a refreshing, energizing, and bold drink, I chose to use brighter colors that correlated with the can's flavor. The splashes of water help convey the idea of refreshment as well as the fresh fruit.

For this project, I got to work with three photographers to help execute the vision for the Bubbl'r ad series. Before we had our shoot, we had a production meeting where I presented my moodboard of inspiration and the sketches of my vision. We discussed ways we could bring my ideas to life and what ways would work the best.

The day we met for the shoot we shot each of the the cans of Bubbl'r with a white spread so we could easily pick the color for the background to match with the specific can in post production. The fruit we hung with fishing wire and shot separately from the cans.
After we were done shooting, my photographers did the work of separating the fruit and cans so that they were each movable pieces that could be adjusted. Together we worked on a way to get the splash affected we wanted. We used stock photography for the water splashes. After researching to find the right look and through trial and error, we successfully got the desired effect.
Once the photographers were done with the cutting out of the items, they handed the files off to me, and I designed the layout and added the type to the ad.
